Vancouver Post Office – Steam Bypass Project

Creative Energy’s district steam heating system that services the Vancouver downtown core required steam pipeline modifications that would bypass the existing connection routed through the Vancouver Post Office Building on West Georgia. Creative Energy’s priority was to ensure continued steam service to surrounding buildings during ongoing construction at the Vancouver Post Office (“The Post”). Extending steam service via buried pipeline was chosen for the bypass solution in addition to providing a future tie-in to the Vancouver Post Office for steam service once construction was complete.

NZE provided engineering design and construction support to for the project in addition to obtaining CRN design registration through Technical Safety, BC.
